[덱 랭킹] 메타 스냅샷 #38. 각 덱별 코멘트 번역 (1~2티어)

처음엔 7위인 리노흑마까지 하려다가, 전체적으로 2티어까지는 해야 될 거 같은 기분에 방밀전사까지 번역해버렸네요.

미드레인지 성기사(1티어 1위)

 

 Upon the release of Wing Two in the League of Explorers Adventure, Mid-Range Paladin has seen itself become even more powerful in the meta. This is due to Keeper of Uldaman becoming a staple in the archetype. This card is extremely versatile, you can utilize it to deal with your opponent's threats, buff your 1/1's, or heal your mid-range minions.  This versatility results in the necessity to run two copies of UIdaman in your deck. It is this addition that pushes Mid-Range Paladin to the top of the meta this week as it has helped increase several of the deck's match-ups against several popular decks on ladder.  The drop in popularity on Face Hunter has allowed Mid-Range Paladin to flourish. 

 탐험가연맹 2주차가 열리면서, 미드 성기사는 메타에서 더욱 강력해지게 되었다. 이는 울다만의 수호자 카드가 덱의 핵심 카드로 떠올랐기 때문이다. 이 카드는 극도로 다재다능하여, 적의 위협적인 카드에 대처하거나, 1/1하수인을 버프하거나, 미드레인지 하수인을 회복시키는 용도로 운용할 수 있다. 이러한 다재다능함은 울다만의 수호자 2장을 덱에 필수적으로 넣게 만들었다. 이러한 카드 추가가 미드성기사를 등급전의 대표적 덱들과 싸우는데 도움을 주어, 이번 주 탑의 위치에 밀어 올려주었다. 돌냥의 인기가 추락하것도 미드기사가 번성하는데 도움을 주었다.

 While the addition of RenoLock has been mildly problematic for Secret Paladin, it does not pose much of an issue for Mid-Range Paladin. While Druid has not been as popular as it once was, there has been more experimentation with Mid-Range Druid with the release of LoE, a match-up where Uldaman is quite relevant, making it a positive match-up for the Paladin.The only deck that Mid-Range Paladin really struggles against is Freeze Mage, but one bad match-up, even if it is popular, still makes Mid-Range Paladin one of the most viable decks to take to ladder. 

 리노흑마의 추가가 비밀기사(파마성기사)를 좀 힘들게 하고 있음에도, 미드 성기사에게는 큰 문제를 제기할 정도는 아니다.  성기사를 상대하기 위하여 미드레인지 드루가 탐험가 연맹 이후 드루이드가 대중적이지 않았던 때마냥 수많은 연구를 거듭하고 있는 것도 울다만의 등장과 큰 관계가 있다. 미드 성기사가 정말로 고전하는 상대가 냉법이긴 하지만, 그냥 나빴던 한 판일 뿐이며, 냉법이 인기를 끌더라도 미드 기사는 등급전에 들고갈만한 가장 성공가능성 높은 덱 중 하나이다.

 

 

파마기사 (2위)

 For the first time since since the Warsong Commander nerf, Secret Paladin is not on top of the meta this week.  League of Explorers has added a lot of new cards to several archetypes and created several new ones, but Secret Paladin will not benefit from the new cards. No new iterations or experimentations have had success on ladder, and in turn the match-ups and decklist remains largely the same as last week.  The addition of RenoLock is a new threat on Secret Paladin's radar, which is one of many reasons it fell from Rank 1. 

 전쟁노래 사령관 너프 이후로, 파마 기사는 이번주에 처음으로 덱 랭킹 1위의 자리에 오르지 못했다. 탐험가 연맹이 많은 카드들을 여러 덱에 추가시켰고, 또 새로운 덱들을 만들었으나 파마 기사는 새 카드의 이득을 받지 못했다. 어떠한 새로운 덱도 실험도 등급전에서 성공하지 못했으며, 결국 대전과 덱리스트에서 거의 대부분 전 주와 동일하다. 리노흑마는 파마기사의 큰 위협이 되고 있으며 1등에서 내려온 많은 이유중 하나이기도 하다. 

 ZooLock has also risen to Tier 1 and has an even match-up against Secret Paladin, but Freeze Mage is the real problem.  Freeze Mage is the only real Secret Paladin counter on ladder, and as it gains in popularity, Secret Paladin will become weaker and weaker.  In spite of poor match-ups on the rise, Secret Paladin is still a strong deck to make the climb to legend with. One of the greatest strengths of Secret Paladin is that even if it has a weak match-up against a deck, a Mysterious Challenger play or strong curve can easily cheese out a win. 

 위니악흑(Zoolock)이 또한 1티어로 올라오면서 파마 기사를 상대하고 있으나 진짜 문제는 냉법이다. 냉법이야말로 파마기사의 진정한 등급전 카운터였으며, 냉법이 인기를 얻어감에 따라 파마 기사는 점점 약해지고 있다. 힘겨운 대전 상대들이 부상하고 있음에도, 파마 기사는 여전히 전설을 달기 좋은 강력한 덱이다. 파마 기사의 가장 강력한 점 중 하나는, 상성상 밀리는 덱과 만나더라도, 수수께기의 도전자를 내거나, 잘 풀린 손패는 쉽게 승리를 이끌어낸다는 것이다.

 

 

 

냉법 (3위)

 Freeze Mage is moving up in Tier 1! In spite of having very polarizing match-ups, it is a very strong deck in the current meta, with it's only weak match-ups being against Druid and Warrior, which are not very popular lately. The deck is favored against both Secret Paladin and Zoolock, which are very popular on ladder, leading to the higher Tier 1 ranking than last week. The current variation of the deck with Reno Jackson was also used to win Seat Story Cup IV by SuperJJ, who won 5-0 in the finals with this exact list. The additions of Reno Jackson and Forgotten Torch from LoE have made the deck very powerful. Only time will tell whether Freeze Mage will remain in Tier 1, but if the deck continues to dominate the meta, there will undoubtedly be a rise in Warrior archetypes to counter the deck. 

 냉법이 1티어로 올라섰다! 매우 편향된 대전승률을 가지고 있음에도, 냉법은 최근 메타에서 매우 강한 덱이다. 드루이드와 전사가 힘든 대전상대이지만, 두 직업은 최근에는 그렇게까지 인기가 없는 편이다. 냉법 덱은 현재 등급전에서 아주 인기있는 파마기사와 위니악흑을 대적하기 좋은 덕에 저번 주에 1티어로 올라오게 되었다. 정확히 지금 덱(리노잭슨을 넣어 변화된 냉법덱)은 Seat Story Cup IV대회에서 SuperJJ가 5-0으로 이길 수 있게 해 준 덱이다. 모험가 연맹에서 리노잭슨과 잊혀진 횟불이 추가됨으로써 덱은 매우 강력해졌다. 냉법이 1티어에 계속 남아있을지는 시간만이 말해주겠지만, 만일 냉법이 계속 메타를 지배하게 된다면, 전사덱이 카운터로 떠오르게 될 것이라는 점은 의심할 여지가 없다.

 

 

 

위니흑마(4위)(덱 구성상 한국에서 부르는 위니악흑에 가까움 – 이후 위니 악흑으로 표기) 

 This week Zoolock climbs all the way to the highest tier in the meta snapshot, being benefitted by the release of the first half of the League of Explorer wings. Decks that punish decks in the early game can easily run all over new and experimental decks being tested on ladder.  Zoolock is an extremely punishing deck, but LoE has also added Dark Peddler to the standard list. Dark Peddler is a versatile card that can get you powerful situational cards like Power Overwhelming or Abusive Sergeant, increasing your board presence. With players experimenting with Druid lists, the class has become a bit more popular, and Tempo Mage has been quite popular over the past week, each being positive match-ups for Zoolock and a big reason why Zoo finds itself in Tier 1.  This week's deck list comes from Dwayna who finished last season in the Top 5 and has used Zoo this season to climb to Top 10. Zoolock is a powerful and consistent deck that is definitely worth taking to ladder. 

 이번 주, 탐험가 연맹의 절반 정도가 지난 시점에 위니악흑이 혜택을 받고 온 힘을 다해 최상위 티어로 떠올랐다. 이 덱이 최근 등급전에서 시험되고 있는 새롭고 실험적인 덱들을 빠르게 끝내버릴 수 있다. 위니악흑은 극단적으로 밀어붙이는 덱인데, 탐험가 연맹의 어둠의 행상인이 기본 덱에 추가되게 되었다. 어둠의 행상인은 다재다능한 카드로써, 압도적인 힘이나 가혹한 하사관 등으로 현재 필드에 힘을 줄 수 있다. 드루이드 덱과 싸우면서 힘을 한번 받고, 템포법사가 그동안 인기를 끌면서, 양쪽 다 할만한 위니흑마에게는 티어 1로 올라올 수 있는 원동력이 되어 주었다. 이번주 덱 리스트는 저번시즌 5등 그리고 이 덱으로 10등에 올라온 Dwayna의 덱이다. 위니흑마는 강하면서 꾸준한 덱으로 등급전에 충분히 가져갈 가치가 있다.

 

 

어그로 드루(5위) 

 This week Aggro Druid barely holds onto it's spot in Tier 1.  It is worth mentioning that the new mini-shredder - Mounted Raptor, introduced this week in the second wind of League of Explorers fits quite well in this deck.  Compared to Shade, Mounted Raptor is much more tempo oriented and harder to remove, which adds to the aggressive nature of the deck. This week VLPS used Aggro druid to reach Rank 3 Legend, which proves that Aggro Druid is still a powerful deck in the LoE meta. Whether this ring true once each of the remaining wings are released is something we will find out in the coming weeks. 

 이번주 어그로 드루는 간신히 1티어에 머무를 수 있었다. 작은 벌목기 - 랩터 탈것 - 에 대해 언급할 필요가 있는데, 탐험가 연맹의 2주차에 나온 이 카드는 이 덱에 잘 들어맞는다. 망령에 비교해서, 랩터 탈 것은 좀더 빠른 템포를 지향하며, 처치하기 어렵고, 덱에 공격적 성향을 더 추가한다. 이번주 VLPS는 어그로 드루로 전설 3등을 달성했는데, 이는 탐험가 연맹 메타에서도 여전히 강력함을 증명하는 것이다. 이러한 고리가 나머지 모험모드가 풀린 후에도 진행될지, 다음 주에도 확인해 볼 것이다.

 

--------- 2티어 ---------- 

미드레인지 드루이드(2티어/ 종합 6위)

This week Mid-Range Druid stays on the top of Tier 2. LoE has not brought much change to the archetype yet.  The new Druid shredder "Mounted Raptor" has been experimented with but does not seem to fit well in the Mid-Range Druid archetype.  With Oil Rogue climbing back up to Tier 2, the introduction of Raptor Rogue, and Paladin being popular on ladder, teching in Harrison Jones should be considered mandatory for this list. Unfortunately with the popularity of Secret Paladin, Zoolock, and Tempo Mage, it is unlikely that Mid-Range Druid will move up to Tier 1 anytime soon. 

  이번주, 미드레인지 드루이드가 2티어의탑 자리를 지켰다. 탐험가 연맹은 덱에 큰 변화를 주지는 못했다. 새로운 드루이드의 벌목기인 “ 랩터 탈것”이 실험되어졌지만, 미드레인지 드루 덱에는 그닥 잘 맞는 것 같지 않다. 기름도적이 2티어로 올라오고, 랩터도적이 등장하며, 성기사가 등급전에서 점점 인기를 얻고 있음에 따라 해리슨 존스가 필수 카드로 고려되어져야 할 듯 하다. 불행하게도 파마기사, 위니악흑 그리고 템포법사의 인기 때문에, 미드드루가 곧 1티어로 올라갈 것 같지는 않다.

리노 흑마 (7위) 

RenoLock is one of the most powerful decks to come out of the League of Explorers. Reno Jackson's viability was questioned when players thought that running the number of one-ofs necessary to consistently get the heal would make the deck too inconsistent to be viable on ladder. What we have seen since the release of Reno Jackson is that Life Tap makes it easy enough to find the necessary heals to win most aggressive match-ups, which Warlock has had a problem with in the past. In the past Freeze Mage has always been a problem for the classic Handlock, but with a deck containing a full heal in addition to other heal cards had shifted the match-up heavily into RenoLock's favor. It is worth noting that there are two variations of RenoLock, the control list featured here, and the ComboLock iteration. The Combo version runs a burst package that could be good in the mirror and improve the match-up against Demon Handlock as well. For the time being I do not think that the combo variant is better than the Handlock version, but it does have potential to be very powerful in the future with a more refined list and depending on how the meta develops with LoE.

 리노흑마는 탐험가 연맹 이후 가장 강력한 덱 중 하나다. 리노 잭슨의 활용가치는 의문시되어졌는데, 그 힐 능력을 사용하기 위해 덱을 너무 까다롭게 구성해야 한다는 점에서 등급전에서 적절하지 않을 것으로 생각되어져 왔기 때문이다. 우리가 리노 잭슨 출시 이후 알게 된 것은, 리노 잭슨의 회복 능력은 과거 흑마가 어그로 덱들을 상대하기 위해서 필요로 했던 그 힐 능력이었다는 점이다. 과거 클래식 거흑에게 냉법은 문제거리였으나, 하지만 덱에 풀힐과 기타 힐 카드 들이 들어가면서 이 매치업은 크게 리노 덱 쪽으로 기울게 되었다. 또 두가지의 리노덱이 있다는 점을 언급할 필요가 있는데, 여기에 소개된 컨트롤 리스트와, 콤보덱 구성 말이다. 콤보 버전은 폭발적인 파워를 내며, 미러전이나 악마흑마를 상대하기에 좋다. 한동안 나는 콤보덱 버전이 거흑보다 좋다는 생각을 하지 않았지만, 이 덱은 향후 메타가 어떻게 변화되고 새로운 카드의 발견에 따라 매우 강력해질 수 있는 가능성을 가지고 있다고 생각한다.

기름 도적 (8위)

After two wings of LoE, Oil Rogue has managed to stay strong in the current meta. This week we are featuring Mickin’s Oil Rogue list that he managed to hit Rank 1 Legend with. The deck includes a Big Game Hunter, which does well against minions that Sap sometimes struggles against such as Dr. Boom or a buffed Mysterious Challenger. So far League of Explorer's only downside for Oil Rogue is that it struggles against decks that have been able to run Reno Jackson effectively. Because of this, Oil Rogue might have to run an Assassi사s Blade for more overall damage if these Reno Jackson decks become too popular.

 

탐험가 연맹 2주차가 개방된 후, 기름 도적은 힘겹게 현재 메타에서 살아남았다. 이번주는 Mickin’s이 랭크 1위를 찍게 한 기름도적을 소개한다. 이 덱은 나 이런 사냥꾼이야 카드가 포함되어 있는데, 혼절시키기 카드가 박사 붐이나 버프받은 수수께끼의 도전자를 처리하기에 어려움을 겪을 때가 있기 때문이다. 아직까지 탐험가 연맹 모험모드는 기름도적을 힘들게 하고 있는데 리노잭슨을 효율적으로 굴릴 수 있는 덱 들을 상대하기가 힘들기 때문이다. 따라서 기름 도적은 리노잭슨 덱이 크게 유행하게 되면 더 많은 딜을 넣기 위해 암살자의 검을 채용해야 할 수도 있다.

 

손님 전사 (9위)

Patron Warrior remains one of the strongest mid-range decks, offering a strong win condition against Paladin, Druid, and aggressive decks. With Ragnaros, Dr. Boom, and Grommash, the deck reliably cycles into late game threats to close out the game against other mid-range and control archetypes. With the release of Reno Jackson, Patron Warrior finds itself struggling against Reno decks that also able to remove a full board of Grim Patrons and heal back up. Often times the Patron Warrior needs to out-value these match-ups by utilizing Battle Rage to keep replenishing its own resources while using Patrons to bait out removal, paving the way for late game threats.

 

손님 전사는 가장 강력한 미드덱 중 하나로 남았으며 성기사, 드루 그리고 어그로 덱들에 대해 강력한 승률을 제공한다. 이 덱은 라그나로스, 박사 붐, 그롬마쉬 헬스크림을 포함함으로써 다른 컨트롤이라 미드레인지 덱을 상대로 확실한 마무리를 낼 수 있다. 리노 잭슨의 등장과 함께 손님덱은 필드에 가득찬 손님을 일소하면서 힐도 할 수 있는 리노 덱들에 고생을 하고 있다. 많은 경우에서, 손님 전사는 이러한 매치업에서 우위를 점하기 위해, 손님 카드를 미끼로 던지면서 전투 격노로 효율적인 카드를 모음으로써 후반전에 대비할 수 있는 길을 닦아야 할 필요가 있다.

 

악마 흑마 (10위)

With the release of the first two wings of League of Explorers, we see that Demon Handlock has not gained much from this expansion, but continues to be a strong deck regardless. Demon Handlock could see a rise pretty soon as some of it's very favorable match-ups are becoming popular on ladder, but not popular enough right now to see a rise in ranks this week. Additionally, Demon Handlock's bad match-ups are beginning to decline (Druid and Hunter primarily). The deck is very powerful with insanely strong mid-game to take any match-up, especially when not punished in the early game. Its ability to pump out threat after threat will keep Demon Handlock strong in the meta for weeks to come.

 

악마 흑마는 2주간의 탐험가 연맹 출시동안 별로 얻은 것은 없지만, 그럼에도 불구하고 강한 덱으로 남아있다. 악마 흑마는 이 덱이 상대하기 좋은 덱(위니악흑이나, 리노흑마 등을 이야기하는 듯)들이 등급전에서 인기를 끌게 되면서 덩달아 상승할 것으로 보이지만, 아직 그 덱들이 크게 올라오지 못했다. 더불어 악흑이 상대하기 힘든 덱들도 하락세다.(주로 드루이드와 사냥꾼). 이 덱은 어떤 덱과도 극도로 강력한 중반의 강력함이 있으며, 특히 초반에 밀리지 않다면 더욱 그러하다. 악흑덱의 계속해서 위협을 만들어내는 능력은 한동안 악흑이 메타를 지킬 수 있게 할 것이다.

 

템포(퍄퍄)법사 (11위)

Tempo Mage hasn't moved much in the last week. League of Explorers hasn't given the archetype any significant tools yet. Ethereal Conjurer isn't strong enough to merit a spot over Azure Drake, which provides both spell power and cycle - two extremely valuable tools in Tempo Mage. The main problem with Tempo Mage is that it is simply not as consistent as the top tier decks. You never know what will happen and that is not always a good thing. With new cards still being released, we might see a new list that is more consistent than the current Tempo Mage, but with LoE making other decks more powerful or more consistent, Tempo Mage will likely continue descending through the ranks in the coming weeks.

템포 법사는 저번주에 비해 크게 변동하지 않았다. 탐험가 연맹은 아직 이 덱에 특별한 도구를 주지는 않았다. 에테리얼 창조술사는 템포법사에게 중요한 주문력과 덱 회전력을 제공하는 하늘빛 비룡에 비해 충분히 큰 메리트가 없다. 템포법사의 주요한 문제점은 탑 티어 덱에 비해서 일관성(안정성)이 없다는 점이다. 당신은 앞으로 무슨 일이 벌어질 지 알 수가 없으며, 그게 항상 좋은 일만도 아니다.(템포법사의 운빨 의존에 대한 이야기) 새 카드들이 더 출시되면서 아마도 현재의 템포 법사가 좀더 안정적이 되는 새로운 덱을 볼 수도 있겠지만, 탐험가 연맹이 다른 덱을을 보다 더 강하고 안정적으로 만드는 이상, 템포법사는 아마 이후에도 계속적으로 랭크에서 하락세를 겪게 될 것으로 보인다.

 

용사제(12위)

This week, we are featuring a Dragon Priest list that makes use of Brann Bronzebeard to provide even more stat-efficient dragon minions. Brann gives a reason to playing Blackwing Technician over Dark Cultist as your turn 3 minion. Brann has been an amazing addition to Dragon Priest as the dragon package already runs solid battlecry minions such as Azure Drake, Twilight Whelp, Wyrmrest Agent, and the Blackwing Corruptor.The trade off for adding Brann is the removal of one board clear, which can make the deck suffer against decks like Face Hunter, which are fortunately less popular.

이번 주, 우리는 용사제가 브란 브론즈비어드를 채택하면서 용 하수인들을 더 효율적으로 활용하는 것을 발견했다. 브란은 3코 하수인에서 어둠의 이교도 대신 검은날개 기술자를 채용할 이유를 주었다. 브란은 용사에제 있어서 아주 환상적인 추가였는데, 용사제는 이미 하늘빛 비룡, 황혼의 비룡, 고룡쉼터 요원, 검은날개 타락자 등의 전함 하수인들을 운용하고 있었기 때문이다. 브란을 넣기 위해서 광역기를 하나 빼게 됨으로써 돌냥과 같은 덱을 상대하기 어려워졌는데, 돌냥의 인기가 하락세인 점은 행운이라고 할 수 있겠다.

 With Zoolock rising on ladder, Dragon Priest has gained another good match-up. Unfortunately the expected increase of Control Priest and RenoLock in the coming weeks might prove a challenge for Dragon Priest. As the deck runs Nefarian, it has an improved match-up against control decks but requires good draws during the early game to out-pressure them. Dragon Priest lists with Djinni of Zephyr and buff cards (Divine Spirit/Inner Fire) have also been seen on ladder, but it is more inconsistent than the standard Dragon Priest lists. If the meta sees an increase in aggro decks, Dragon Priest could rise in rankings, but until then it remains toward the bottom of Tier 2.

 

 위니악흑이 등급전에서 떠오르면서, 용사제가 할만한 매치업이 하나 늘어났다. 불행하게도, 컨트롤 사제와 리노흑마가 점차 떠오를 것이 예상되므로, 이들은 용사제에게 큰 도전이 될 것이다. 네파리안을 기용함으로써, 이 덱은 컨트롤 덱을 상대하기 좋은 힘을 얻었으나, 대신에 초반의 압박을 벗어나기 위한 좋은 손패가 필요하다. 서풍의 신령과 버프(천상의 정신/내면의열정)을 기용하는 용사제도 보이고 있으나, 이는 기존의 용사제보다도 더 불안정하다. 만일 어그로 메타가 증가하게 된다면 용사제의 랭킹이 올라갈 여지가 있지만, 그 전까지는 여전히 2티어의 바닥을 향해 가게 될 것이다.

 

컨사제(13위)

 Although some lists have added Djinni of Zephyr and Summoning Stones from the new LoE adventure, Control Priest still remains largely the same as it was pre-expansion. The Djinni and Summoning Stone are slow cards that cannot stand up against the aggressive openings from most decks.For this reason we are featuring Zetalot's list which does not run any taunts, but has solid early game minions in Zombie Chow and Northshire Cleric to counter any early aggression. Wild Pyromancer is an excellent card in the meta that helps clear the floor of Paladin decks, which are still extremely popular on ladder. The main reason for Control Priest's rise into Tier 2 is Zoolock's increased popularity on ladder, which presents a good match-up for the Priest. Unfortunately LoE has introduced a bad match-up for Control Priest with the addition of RenoLock. As RenoLock becomes more refines in the coming weeks, it will likely become more popular on ladder as well, which will prevent Control Priest from performing well on ladder. Until that time Control Priest can stay in Tier 2, but it will remain in the lower ranks.

 몇몇 덱이 새 모험모드의 서풍의 신령과 소환의 돌을 넣고 있으나, 컨트롤 사제는 여전히 모험모드 전과 거의 동일하다. 서풍의 신령과 소환의 돌은 느린 카드이며, 대부분 덱이 가지고 있는 초반의 공격적 시작을 견뎌낼 수가 없다. 이러한 이유로 우리는 제타롯(Zetalot)의 덱을 소개하는데, 아무런 도발카드도 없지만 다른 초반 어그로에 대처하기 위해 튼튼한 1코 하수인인 간식용 좀비와 북녘골 성직자를 채용했다. 광기의 화염술사는 여전히 등급전에서 크게 인기를 끌고 있는 성기사 덱을 클리어하기에 매우 좋은 카드다.

컨트롤 사제가 2티어로 부상하게 된 것은, 컨사제가 해볼만한 위니악흑이 등급전에서 큰 인기를 끌고 있기 때문이다. 불행하게도 탐험가 연맹은 컨사제가 상대하기 힘든 리노흑마를 추가시켰다. 리노흑마가 점점 개량되어가면서 등급전에서 더 인기를 끌 것으로 예상되며, 이는 컨사제가 등급전을 잘 헤쳐나가는 것을 막게 될 것이다. 그때까지도 컨사제는 2티어에 남겠지만, 낮은 등급을 유지할 것으로 보인다.

 

컨트롤 전사(방밀) (14위)

Control Warrior finds itself in a tough spot once again; a few key mid-range cards released this week buffed Rogue, Paladin, and Druid, while Warlock makes the control match-up difficult with Reno Jackson and Jaraxxus health buffs. A key tech choice this week is Harrison Jones, which helps deal with the Rogues, Paladins, and the odd Jaraxxus' Claw. A Sludge Belcher has been substituted for a Deathlord, and an additional early game minion. Running double Brawl has never felt better for Warrior, finding the Brawl more consistently helps Warrior make a lot of comebacks one Brawl can't. The addition of Nefarian over Alexstraza can help Warrior out-value greedy Reno decks and keep Control Warrior as a serious contender in control match-ups.

방밀 전사는 흑마가 리노잭슨과 자락서스 회복버프를 통한 컨트롤 매치업을 힘겹게 만드는 와중에 이번 주에 몇몇 키 미드레인지 카드들이 추가되고 도적, 성기사, 드루이드를 버프하면서 또다시 힘든 장소에 처하게 되었다. 이번주의 핵심적인 기술적 변화는 해리슨 존스의 기용으로, 도적, 성기사, 그리고 자락서스를 상대하는데 도움을 준다. 누더기 골렘은 죽음의 군주로 대체되어지고 초반 하수인들이 추가되었다. 난투 2장을 기용하는 것은 전사에게 좋지 않다고 여겨졌으나, 역전각을 많이 만들어 준다는 점에서 1장을 기용할 때에 비해 더 큰 안정감을 준다. 알렉스트라자 대신 네파리안을 기용함으로써 전사는 욕심많은 리노 덱에 우위에 설 수 있고, 방밀 전사는 여전히 중후반 컨트롤 대전에서 강력한 대전자 위치를 지킬 것이다.
